Established in 2000, Shri B.D. Mehta Mahavir Heart Institute, Surat, is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac care through advanced diagnosis, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and round-the-clock emergency services.
With a commitment to clinical excellence, affordability, and compassionate care, the institute continues to strengthen its cardiac services. A significant milestone in its journey was performing the first heart transplant in South Gujarat in 2022, in collaboration with Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai.
Today, Mahavir Heart Institute remains committed to making quality heart care accessible and delivering timely, patient-centred treatment.
OUR STORY
Built around one belief cardiac care shouldn't wait.
Since then, the institute has grown into a NABH-accredited, CDHO-registered facility operating a digital Cath Lab, dedicated Cardiac ICU, and a full-time emergency cardiology team every part of it built around one idea: in cardiac care, minutes decide outcomes.
Today, the institute covers the full spectrum of heart care from preventive screening to bypass surgery and rehabilitation under one roof, at one address in Surat.
